We are pleased to announce the Edward Robinson, P.E., principal engineer for Professional Engineering Inspections, Inc., was inducted into the Order of the Engineer.
The Order of the Engineer ceremony occurred at the 2017 National Academy of Building Inspection Engineers Annual Conference (NABIE). The Order of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer.
The order of the engineer is based upon the acceptance of the lonely responsibility of an engineer as written in the poem by Rudyard Kipling in the Sons of Marth. (This blog contains the article and is a good read whether you agree or not).
