Professional Engineering Inspections has added thermography to our tools when performing building investigations. Edward Robinson the principal engineer at Professional Engineering has obtained his Level 1 – Category 1 Building Investigations certification as a Certified Infrared Thermographer.
This tool will help us to offer a broader range of services including building science investigations which is one the reasons we moved into this equipment. While we do not use this equipment on every inspection type, we provide it can be useful in some instances to aid in diagnosing problems related it air infiltration, thermal bypasses, water entry, and equipment failures.
